November Mission Trip Returns after successful and rewarding visit
The mission trip to Bangladesh this November had a very successful and rewarding two week visit to Dhaka, Dumki and Madaripur to visit the LHCB hospital and community development programs. The travelers included Pastor Lynn Peterson who last visited Bangladesh in 1997 with her father and our founder, Dr. Bud Peterson, for the dedication of the LHCB hospital. Karin Robeck (Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse) was making her third visit to Bangladesh, and Dr. Karna Lundquist (Pediatrician) was making her fifth visit since 2003. LHCB-USA welcomes Dr. Kathy Pfleghaar to the Board
Dr. Kathy Pfleghaar is the newest member of the Board of Directors for LHCB-USA. Dr. Pfleghaar has been to Bangladesh on two mission trips, first in 2005 and then again in 2008. Dr. Pfleghaar is trained in obstetrics and gynecology, and specializes in high risk pregnancy complications. We are very fortunate to have her as a member of the board with her skill and experience, and her dedication to improving the health of the women served at the LHCB hospital in southern Bangladesh.
